CAT 2024: The Common Admission Test (CAT 2024) is scheduled to be held on November 24. As weeks left for CAT, the candidates who are preparing for CAT should attempt mock tests daily and practice sample papers, previous years’ papers. Familiar with the exam pattern: Attempting mock test is always useful as it helps candidates to get familiar with the paper pattern. Just weeks left for the exam, candidates should attempt one or two mock tests daily that will help them to be familiar with the exam environment
Time Management: The duration of CAT exam is 120 minutes. The mock tests will help a candidate to monitor his or her speed in completing the paper. CAT has three sections, and each section has a 40-minute time allotment. The candidates should closely monitor his speed and try to make a habit to complete the paper before time so that it will help them on the exam day.
Preparation progress: Daily attempting mock tests and to take challenge to solve multiple sets of questions will help a candidate to track progress of his/ her preparation. The mock tests will help a candidate to know where he lacks preparation wise and help them in improving their preparation strategy.
Track mistakes: After attempting mock tests, the candidates should check the solved answers. The solved answers will help them to know the mistakes and provide an opportunity to rectify it.
Know percentile: The candidates can get an idea of their performance in CAT beforehand. Attempting multiple mock tests will help you to know your scores, thus give an idea of your percentile in the management entrance.
CAT will be held in three shifts; shift one from 8:30 am to 10:30 am, shift two- 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm, shift 3- 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. CAT admit card has already been released, and candidates can download the hall ticket on the official website- iimcat.ac.in.
