CBI team reached Delhi with Luthra brothers, will be presented in Patiala House Court Gujarati
New Delhi: Luthra brothers, accused in the Goa nightclub fire, have arrived in India. The process of his extradition to Thailand has been completed. Thailand handed him over to India. The CBI team has taken him back to Delhi. Goa Police arrested him from Delhi Airport.
On the night of 6 December, a massive fire broke out in a nightclub in Gowana Arpora, killing 25 people, including five tourists. The Luthra brothers were in Delhi at the time of the incident and immediately after the incident they fled from Delhi to Thailand.
Thai police arrested him in Phuket
At India’s request, Thai police detained him in Phuket on 9 December. India also canceled their passports, so that they could not escape. The CBI team had reached Thailand yesterday and after completing the extradition process, Thailand handed over the Luthra brothers to India.
