CBSE 12th re-evaluation results released, action taken on 87% cases
New Delhi: CBSE has started releasing the results of applications for Class 12 marks verification, photocopies of answer sheets and re-evaluation. The board said that the results are being declared in phases so that the applications of the students can be processed properly.
More than 87 percent of the total applications were disposed of on the very first day. Work on the remaining applications is still going on and their results will be released in the next stages. CBSE says that the entire process will be completed soon.
Check your status on DigiLocker
Students who had applied for verification or re-evaluation can check their status by visiting the DigiLocker result portal. Updated marksheet can also be downloaded from here.
CBSE has advised students to rely only on the official website and DigiLocker for any kind of information. Do not pay attention to news received from social media or other unofficial sources.

Why is the process of re-evaluation necessary?
After the declaration of board exam results, many students are not satisfied with their marks. Marks verification is an opportunity for such students to re-check their total marks. If anyone has doubts about the evaluation of a particular question, he can first take a photocopy of the answer sheet and then apply for re-evaluation.
According to CBSE, every application is being examined under a transparent system. To maintain fairness and accuracy, verification has been arranged at several levels.
