CBSE Board 12th result will be released soon, DigiLocker issued notification, check this way

CBSE Class 12th board exam was conducted from 17 February to 10 April 2026 at various centers across the country. This time the evaluation of copies is being done under “Onscreen Marking Scheme”, which is in the final stage. Results may be declared soon. However, no date has been announced yet by the Central Board of Secondary Education.

Digital Locker on its official website But a notification of “Result Coming Soon” has been issued regarding the 12th result. Looking at the trends of the previous years, it is estimated that the marksheet can be released anytime next week. The expected date is from 11th to 20th May 2026. For updates, candidates should regularly visit the official website. It is advisable to keep visiting.

Students should do this work before the results

Students are advised to keep the documents ready before the result. This includes roll number, school number, admit card ID, date of birth and DigiLocker access code etc. The 6 digit DigiLocker access code will be provided to the students by the school. Before this, candidates are advised to create their profile on DigiLocker or Umang App. So that there is no problem of any kind on the result day.

Keep in mind that the digital marksheet of 12th will be valid only until the physical marksheet and certificate is issued by CBSE. Apart from this, students can also know their result through SMS.

trend of last years

The results in 2025 and 2024 were declared on May 13. In 2023, the results were released on 12 May and in 2022, on 22 July. The 12th result in 2020 was declared on 13 July. Last year the passing percentage of students was 88.39%. The passing percentage of girls was 91.54% and that of boys was 86%. More than one lakh 11 thousand students had scored more than 90%. While the number of students scoring more than 95% was 24,886.
