CBSE Board Exams 2026: CBSE Class 10 exams canceled in 7 countries of the Middle East, Class 12 postponed

CBSE Board Exams 2026: The tense situation in many countries of the Middle East is now affecting the studies and examinations of the students. Taking a big decision regarding the class 10 and class 12 board examinations, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has changed the examination schedule in these countries.

Many class 10 exams canceled

According to the board, all the examinations of class 10 to be held between March 7 and March 11, 2026 have been canceled. Apart from this, the examinations to be held on March 2, March 5 and March 6, which were earlier postponed, have also been cancelled. CBSE has said that information on the basis on which the results of class 10 students will be declared in these countries will be given separately later. The board will soon issue a new notification for this.

Class 12 exams postponed for now

The board has also taken an important decision for class 12 students. The class 12 examination to be held on March 7, 2026 has been postponed for the time being. According to the board, the new date of this examination will be announced later. Students have been advised to stay in touch with their schools and keep an eye on the official notifications of the board.

The situation will be reviewed on March 7

CBSE said that the situation will be reviewed again on March 7. After this, new guidelines will be issued regarding the examinations to be held from March 9, 2026 onwards. The board says that this decision has been taken keeping in mind the safety and convenience of the students, because the situation in many countries of the Middle East is not normal at present.

Exams of these countries were affected

CBSE said in the circular issued on March 5, 2026 that the examination schedule in Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates has been changed for the time being.
