Besides, CBSE has also provided options like verification and re-evaluation for students dissatisfied with the result.
CBSE’s response to students’ concerns regarding OSM system
After the release of 12th board result, many students had raised questions regarding the OSM system on social media and other platforms. Some students believed that their marks had been affected due to the new digital assessment process.
Amidst these concerns, CBSE issued an official statement saying that the board is seriously understanding every concern of the students. According to the board, the OSM system was re-implemented so that transparency and uniformity is maintained in the examination of copies.
CBSE said that the evaluation process has been done on the basis of marking scheme prepared by experienced teachers. If a student has written the answer to the question in a different way, but his answer is correct, then he is also given marks.
If you are not satisfied with the result then these options are available
The board said that there are several official options available for students who have any doubts about their marks. If students wish:
- You can get your numbers verified
- You can see the copy of the checked answer sheet
- Can apply for re-evaluation
CBSE says that the purpose of these features is to provide students with a transparent and reliable evaluation process.
