The process of revaluation and marks verification is almost completed by the board and the revised results can be released soon. Students who had applied for re-checking or re-evaluation of their marks will be able to check their updated scores by visiting the official website after the declaration of results.

Revised results will be released

The Central Board of Secondary Education has indicated that the disposal of all the matters related to re-evaluation is in the final stage. It has also been told by the Education Ministry that the results of most of the students have already been released and now the revised results will be released after the processing of the remaining applications is completed.

Advice given to keep prints safe

After the release of the result, students will be able to check their result with the help of roll number and date of birth by visiting the official website of the board. It has also been advised to download the online mark sheet and keep its print safe.

The Board has clarified that it is not necessary to merely increase the marks after re-evaluation. If in re-verification the marks are found less then the revised marks will be considered final and the new mark sheet will be issued on the same basis.

This time the board has also given relief in the fees of verification and revaluation process. Also, if a student’s marks improve, a provision for refund of fees has also been made under the prescribed rules.

It is noteworthy that this year the CBSE Class 12 result was declared in May. Digital on-screen marking system was used extensively in the examination evaluation process. However, some students and parents had also lodged objections regarding the evaluation process, after which the board provided an opportunity for re-evaluation.
