CCTV: Video of collapse of waiting hall under construction at Kannauj Railway Station has surfaced. The waiting hall under construction collapsed at 2:24 pm. The accident occurred when the hall fell while leaning down. The entire incident has been captured in CCTV cameras.
Actually, on Saturday, the roof under construction at the railway station in Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh suddenly collapsed. 23 laborers have been injured in this accident. Treatment of all the injured is going on in the hospital.
Rescue operation is going on
While talking to the media, Kannauj DM Shubhrant Kumar Shukla said, “Eight seriously injured people are undergoing treatment in the Government Medical College. Whereas, one seriously injured person has been referred to Kanpur. 14 are in the district hospital. People are admitted where they are undergoing treatment. It has come to light that 23 people have been injured but no one has died in this accident. Special teams of NDRF and Railways are on the spot. Rescue operation is being carried out through the means, it has been found out from the workers who were on the roof that one or two people may be safe. There is no possibility that anyone else is under the debris but we will remove the debris 100 percent.”

Construction of a new building on platform number 1
Let us tell you that a new building was being constructed on platform number 1 of Kannauj railway station. The roof linter was being put on the pillar, when suddenly this accident happened. There was a commotion on the spot due to the roof collapse. Local people and administration had started relief and rescue operations. The condition of many workers is said to be serious.
