It was only a matter of time when there were frequent incidents of Indian aircraft being hit by bombs. An important decision has been taken by the Central Government in this regard. The Government has amended the Aircraft (Security) Rules, 2023. It has been told that if a person commits such an act, a fine of up to Rs 1 crore can be imposed on him.
Any false information that attempts to impair the safety of aircraft
According to media reports, many such reports had come out in which one after the other the planes were threatened with bombs, due to which the airlines had to face huge losses and questions were also raised regarding the safety of the passengers.
According to media reports, Section 30A and Rule 29A have been included in the Aircraft (Security) Rules, 2023 by the Ministry of Civil Aviation on 16 December. Under the new rules, a fine of up to ₹1 lakh, ₹50 lakh, ₹75 lakh or ₹1 crore can be imposed on the accused.
