Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said, we are going to file a privilege notice against Rahul Gandhi for misleading the House and making baseless statements. There are clear rules of procedure and procedure in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. When a member wants to make a serious allegation against another member, he has to give notice and also have to prove the allegation. I have requested Rahul Gandhi to call him in the House and certify the points raised by him. Rahul Gandhi has made baseless and false allegations against the government and the Prime Minister, saying that the Prime Minister has sold India and Indian interests. on what basis? He has made serious allegations against Hardeep Singh Puri without giving any notice.
He further said that Rahul Gandhi does this deliberately again and again. His speech, usually full of lies and accusations, is followed by him fleeing the House. He never sits in the House to listen to the minister’s reply. It is very unfortunate that we do not have a person of very serious nature or serious character worthy of the post of Leader of the Opposition.
