Central Govt Scholarship: The Central Government has invited applications for 23 sponsored scholarships. This scholarship helps students at many levels. If you consider yourself eligible for this scholarship, you can apply. The last date to apply for this is 31 October 2024. If you want to apply for these scholarships, then you will have to go to the National Scholarship Portal scholarships.gov.in.

application procedure

To apply, first of all you have to do One Time Registration (OTR). OTR is a unique 14-digit number, which is issued on the basis of Aadhaar/Aadhaar Registration ID (EID). This number remains valid for your entire academic career, hence there is no need to register every academic year. After doing OTR, students can apply using their OTR ID.

Categories of Scholarships Available

These scholarships cover multiple categories, including scholarships for specially-abled (PWD) students, UGC, and NCERT.

National Means cum Merit Scholarship: This scholarship is provided by the Department of School Education and Literacy.

Central Sector Scheme for College and University Students: This scholarship of the Higher Education Department is for college and university students.

National Scholarship for Post Graduate Studies: This scholarship is for students at postgraduate level.

Ishan Uday Special Scholarship Scheme: This scheme is for the students of North Eastern region.
