CG Breaking: Important appointment of Chhattisgarh’s IAS Ravi Mittal in PMO, made deputy secretary.
Raipur. The Central Government has appointed 2016 batch IAS officer of Chhattisgarh cadre Ravi Mittal as Deputy Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO). This appointment has been made after the approval of the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC).
According to the order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the tenure of Ravi Mittal will be four years from the date of joining or till further orders.
This appointment is being considered important in administrative circles, because the post of Deputy Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office plays an important role in policy coordination and high-level decision making. Ravi Mittal is currently performing the responsibility of Public Relations Commissioner. Before this he had worked as Jashpur Collector.
