Ingredients to make Carrot Chips
2 carrots
a spoonful of olive oil
Salt
a spoonful of black pepper
one spoon chaat masala
one spoon red chilli powder
How to make carrot chips
- Wash and peel the carrots thoroughly and cut all the carrots lengthwise into thin slices, so that the chips become nicely crunchy.
- Put carrot slices in a large bowl. Add olive oil, salt, black pepper, red chili powder and chaat masala and mix well so that the spices stick well to each slice.
- Then preheat the oven to 180°C. Line a baking tray with baking paper or a silicone mat to prevent the chips from sticking. Spread the carrot slices well one by one on the tray.
- Make sure that the slices do not overlap each other, so that they cook evenly. When the carrot chips are crunchy and lightly browned, remove them from the oven.
- Apart from tea, you can serve carrot chips with green coriander chutney, sweet chutney or tomato sauce.
- If you do not have an oven then you can also make them in an air fryer, for this preheat the air fryer to 180°C and fry the carrot slices for 10 minutes.
