Attack on BJP leader Navneet Rana: There was a huge uproar on Saturday in a meeting of former MP and BJP leader Navneet Rana from Maharashtra's Amravati. During this time the situation worsened so much that the angry crowd even threw chairs at him. However, the security personnel took them safely to the spot.

According to the information, BJP leader Navneet Rana had reached Khallar village of Daryapur assembly constituency to campaign in support of her MLA husband Ravi Rana's Yuva Swabhiman Party candidate Ramesh Bundile. During this time, some people started creating ruckus in the meeting and threw chairs at Navneet Rana. The video of the incident is becoming increasingly viral on social media.

After the incident, Navneet Rana has alleged that while she was giving a speech in the meeting, some people made dirty gestures at her and raised slogans of 'Allah Hu Akbar'. As soon as Rana's speech ended, chairs were thrown at him. After this there was an uproar in the meeting.

The BJP leader further said that his security guards escorted him to the vehicle safely, but the violent mob tried to attack him by abusing him. He has lodged a complaint against 40 to 50 unknown people at the police station. Also demanded to arrest the accused soon. The police have said that they will take strict action against those who do so.
