According to Hindu calendar, Chaitra Navratri is starting from 19 March 2026. Navratri starts from the Pratipada date of Chaitra Shukla Paksha. On March 19, Chaitra Navratri, the auspicious time for setting up the Kalash will start from 6:52 am in the morning and will last till 07:53 am. Those who cannot establish Kalash in this Muhurta can establish Ghat in Abhijeet Muhurta. On March 19, Abhijeet Muhurta will be from 12:05 pm to 12:53 pm.

On the first day of Chaitra Navratri, Maa Durga is worshiped with rituals along with the establishment of Kalash.
