Auspicious time for Ghatasthapana
Ghatasthapana has special significance on the first day of Navratri. The auspicious time for establishing the Kalash has been fixed from 6:52 am to 7:43 am on March 19. Performing puja as per rituals in this Muhurta is considered extremely fruitful.
Can be established in Abhijeet Muhurta also
If Ghatasthapana is not possible in the auspicious time of the morning, then this work can be done in Abhijeet Muhurta also. Abhijeet Muhurta will be from 12:05 pm to 12:53 pm. This Muhurta is considered especially auspicious in temples and pandals.
Materials required for installation
The puja materials for setting up the Kalash include turmeric, Kunku, Gulal, Rangoli, Sindoor, Camphor, Janeu, Dhoopbatti, Niranjan, Mango leaves, Betel leaves, Flower garland, Panchamrit, Jaggery-Khopra, Kharik, Almonds, Betel nut, Coins, Coconut, Five types of fruits, Chowki, Kush’s seat and Naivedya.
