Chakravyuh of India and the slipping gait of the dragon

When China is trying to increase its influence in the Indian Ocean, at the same time India adopted a very silent but effective strategy in the Bay of Bengal. India first issued a NOTAM of no fly zone and then canceled it at the last moment. This was done not once, but three times. Every time as soon as NOTAM came, China sent its spy ships to the same area. This made it clear that China is keeping an eye on every strategic move of India.

What is NOTAM and why suspicion increases?

NOTAM means Notice to Airmen, through which pilots are warned to stay away from a particular airspace. In the last week of November, India issued NOTAM for about 3500 km long area from Chandipur in Odisha to Visakhapatnam. Seeing such a large area, speculations were made that India was about to test a big missile. According to defense experts, it may have four missiles, which are equipped with nuclear capability and capable of hitting a range of about 3500 kilometers.

How did China’s spy ships get stuck?

As soon as India issued NOTAM, China sent its research ship Lan Hai 101 to the Indian Ocean. Already existing ships like Shi Yan 6, Shen Hai Yi Hao and Lan Hai 201 were also activated. All these ships are considered dual use, that is, along with maritime research, they are also capable of missile tracking and espionage. But India canceled the NOTAM at the last moment and China’s tactics were exposed.

Pakistan was also kept in alert mode

Meanwhile, India issued a notification of Air Force exercise very near Karachi in the Arabian Sea. Due to this Pakistan also became alert. That is, on one hand, China remained busy in the Bay of Bengal, while on the other hand, India also kept Pakistan busy in the Arabian Sea. This clearly shows that India is capable of exerting strategic pressure on many fronts simultaneously.

Is this India’s master planning?

In December India again issued a new NOTAM for the Bay of Bengal, first extended to 2250 km and then to 3550 km. China again fell into the trap and also sent a fifth ship named Da Yang Yi Hao. But India once again canceled the NOTAM at the last moment. Defense experts believe that India is doing this deliberately so that the reaction, speed and operation capability of Chinese ships can be closely understood. This is the real Chakravyuh of India, in which the Dragon itself is getting trapped.
