Chambal's guns also failed in front of mosquito terror, dengue figures scared…

Gwalior:- In Gwalior Chambal, where guns are the cause of most deaths, mosquitoes are now becoming the cause of death. Yes, there is terror of dengue in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. According to the Health Department, dengue is getting out of control due to water logging after the rains. Steps are being taken continuously to prevent it, yet the number of patients is continuously increasing.

Up to 400 samples every day, now 700 patients found

According to Gwalior CMHO Dr. Sachin Srivastava, about 300-400 samples are being tested for dengue every day. With 47 new positive patients found on Thursday, 460 patients have been found dengue positive in 26 days of September. With which the total figure from January 1 till Thursday was 682 patients. This figure is more than last year because till October last year, 456 dengue patients were found, while Friday's report is yet to come.

64 percent children positive among patients

The most shocking thing that has come to light in these figures is that out of the 460 patients who fell victim to dengue in the month of September, sixty-four percent are children whose age is 17 years or less. Between September 1 and September 26, a total of 292 dengue positive reports have come from children. Seeing these situations, the Health Department has also issued a letter to the School Education Department cautioning children against dengue.

What is the system of health department?
Chief Medical and Health Officer of the district, Dr. Sachin Srivastava says, “All the guidelines of the Health Department are being followed for the prevention of dengue. A separate ward for dengue has also been created in three big government hospitals of Gwalior urban area. 22 teams have been formed by the District Health Department which are working continuously. Along with these, Asha ANM workers are also continuously conducting larval surveys with the malaria team. Along with this survey work, awareness campaign is being conducted along with surveying private and government schools, coaching centers and colleges in all government premises. Because it is very important to make the public aware.”
people have to be aware
When CMHO Srivastava was asked about the continuously increasing dengue positive cases, the CMHO said, “Awareness is very important because the health department and municipal corporation teams are working continuously. But until people do not remove the larvae growing in their homes, what will anyone do? Because even if the health department team goes to people's homes and removes the larvae once while doing the survey, if people do not pay attention to it and the larvae grow again, then the danger of dengue will start looming again.

Three deaths due to dengue, one dead in government figures

So far, three deaths due to dengue have been reported in Gwalior region, which include an elderly person and a student. But the health department is not accepting these figures. The main reason for which is that the dengue positive reports of the elderly person who died on Thursday and the student of the private university who died earlier had come from private hospitals, where they were treated but the private lab declared them dengue positive. Since the health department is not validating these reports. CMHO Sachin Srivastava says, “The student's dengue report was not done. Whereas two out of three reports were negative, in such a situation, according to the data of the Health Department, only one death is accepted to be due to dengue.

How to keep yourself safe from dengue
According to Gwalior Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Sachin Srivastava, “It is very important for people to be alert about dengue, for this they must take some precautions. First of all, it is the rainy season, so do not allow water to accumulate in any area of the house. Keep changing the water frequently. Keep emptying the water in the cooler tank from time to time. Maintain cleanliness in the house.

If these symptoms appear, get checked immediately
Also know how you can recognize the common symptoms of dengue fever. If a person has cold and high fever along with cold and cough, does not feel hungry like normal, does not taste food, has bleeding in the nose and gums and on examination the number of platelets is low, then it can be dengue. If these symptoms occur, immediately consult a doctor and get tested for dengue.

HC asked for report from the government

The High Court has shown strictness regarding the increasing cases of dengue in Madhya Pradesh. The double bench of High Court Chief Justice Suresh Kumar Kait and Justice Vivek Jain has directed the state government to submit the status report within a week during the hearing regarding the increase in dengue cases in the state. The next hearing of the case will be on October 4.
