Champions Cup final will not be held in Pakistan

In such a situation, the Champions Cup venue will remain closed till a few days before the final. According to reports, India will not play the match in Pakistan as BCCI is hesitant in sending the team due to political tension between the neighboring countries.

The final of the competition will be held on March 18 and the venue will be decided by March 15. Apart from the final, the focus is also on the venue of the semi-final stage. Abu Dhabi and Sharjah are possible locations.

Earlier, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi had recently said that the ICC Champions Trophy will be held in Pakistan. He also said that I do not think that the match will be canceled or postponed because India is here. We are confident that we can host all the champion teams in Pakistan. Also, the stadium will be ready on time to host the matches and the remaining work will be completed after the matches.

The 2025 Champions Cup will take place from February 19 to March 9, so March 10 will be the qualifying date for the final. Pakistan team will be in Group A along with India, Bangladesh and New Zealand and Group B will have teams of England, South Africa, Australia and Afghanistan.
