Champions Trophy 2025 schedule is out, know when India-Pakistan match will take place
New Delhi: The complete schedule of ICC Champions Trophy 2025 has now been revealed. The match between India and Pakistan will be held in Dubai on 23 February. India's first match in the tournament will be played against Bangladesh, which will be held in Dubai. Pakistan Cricket Board has selected UAE as the match venue under the hybrid model, due to which all India's matches will be played in UAE. The final of the Champions Trophy 2025 will be held in Lahore, but if the Indian team reaches the final then the match will be held in Dubai. The first match of Champions Trophy 2025 will be played between Pakistan and New Zealand on February 19 in Karachi. After this, the match between India and Bangladesh will be held on 20th February. Afghanistan's first match will be against South Africa in Karachi on 21 February. The match will be played between Australia and England on 22 February.
When and where will India's match take place
Team India's first match will be against Bangladesh on 20th February in Dubai. After this there will be a match with Pakistan on 23rd February. The match between India and New Zealand will be held on March 2. All the matches of Team India will be held in Dubai.
India and Pakistan in the same group
There will be 15 matches between a total of 8 teams in the Champions Trophy 2025. All the teams are divided into 2 groups. India and Pakistan have been placed in the same Group A, which also includes New Zealand and Bangladesh. Whereas South Africa, Australia, Afghanistan and England are present in Group-B.
How many matches will there be in each group?
There are 4 teams in each group and 3-3 matches will be played between all these teams. The top 2 teams of Group-A and Group-B will qualify for the semi-finals. The first semi-final will be held in Dubai, while the second will be held in Lahore. The final match will also be played at one of these two venues. If a team reaches the finals, it will play a total of 5 matches in the tournament.
Tournament Groups
Group-A – India, Pakistan, New Zealand, Bangladesh Group-B – South Africa, Australia, Afghanistan, England
10 matches will be held at 3 venues in Pakistan.
These 15 matches will be played at a total of 4 venues. Of these, 3 venues will be in Pakistan, while one venue will be in Dubai. The Indian team will play all its matches in Dubai. If the Indian team reaches the semi-finals, the final will also be held in Dubai. If it does not qualify, the final will be played in Lahore on March 9.
