Champions Trophy 2025: Champions Trophy 2025 is to be held in Pakistan. Top 8 teams of the world have qualified for this tournament. Apart from Pakistan, other 6 teams are preparing for this tournament but there is doubt whether the Indian team will go to Pakistan for this mega event or not. However, PCB wants to invite Team India for this tournament at any cost and for this reason it has given a new proposal to BCCI.

PCB gave new proposal to BCCI

According to a report by Cricbuzz, Pakistan Cricket Board has written a letter to BCCI. In this letter, PCB has given a new proposal to call the Indian team to Pakistan. PCB has written in the letter that, if Team India does not want to stay in Pakistan due to security reasons, then they can return to Delhi or Chandigarh after every match. Pakistan Cricket Board will provide full support to Team India in this.

After all, why this proposal?

PCB has drafted the schedule of the Champions Trophy. All India's matches have been held in Lahore. The distance of Lahore from Delhi and Chandigarh is very short. Team India can reach Delhi or Chandigarh from Lahore, Pakistan in just a few minutes. This is the reason why PCB has given this new proposal to BCCI.

Recently the Foreign Minister visited Pakistan

The letter by PCB to BCCI has been written at a time when the Foreign Minister of India has recently returned from a tour of Pakistan. Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar recently went to Pakistan to participate in the SCO meeting where he met Pakistan's PM and Foreign Minister. Jaishankar also attended the banquet organized by Pakistan PM Shahbaz Sharif. It seems that Jaishankar's visit has reduced the ongoing tension between the two countries.
