Chances of snowfall in the mountains, rain with heat in the plains; today’s weather condition

Summer season has arrived but the clouds are playing a game of hide and seek like rain. The rains in Delhi-NCR as well as UP, Rajasthan and Haryana this week have kept the weather cool so far. Now this trend may continue on Sunday also.

There are chances of rain in Delhi-NCR today. A slight coolness is definitely being felt in the morning and evening in Delhi, but in the afternoon, hot winds and strong sunlight are making people feel hot. The Meteorological Department has said that the temperature of entire North India may increase in the coming days. In such a situation, heat like conditions may arise in the beginning of April itself.

The mood of North India will change

The weather will remain completely dry in the plains of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Punjab, Haryana and Uttarakhand in North India today. The day temperature in these areas can range between 33-34 degrees Celsius, while at some places it can even reach close to 36 degrees. There is also a possibility of dusty winds blowing in the plains, which will further increase the effect of heat.

Mild coolness persists in the mountains

There is slight coolness in the hilly areas but the sunlight is getting stronger during the day, due to which the temperature is gradually rising. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has said that rains are likely to continue in North-West India this week, the intensity of which will peak on March 29 and 30 and there may be snowfall along with scattered heavy rains in Kashmir Valley on March 30.

There is a possibility of sporadic to heavy rainfall along with thunderstorms, lightning and strong winds in North-East and adjoining Eastern India this week. Apart from this, there is a possibility of thunderstorm, lightning and strong winds along with sporadic rain in South India this week.
