Chand Mera Dil trailer: Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions is once again back among the audience with a romantic drama film. The trailer of the upcoming film Chand Mera Dil has finally been released, giving a glimpse of the emotional love story of Ananya Panday and Lakshya Lalwani. There are emotions, drama and tragedy in the film which will show you a new era love story.

Unique love story seen in the trailer
The trailer of the film starts with Lakshya’s character apologizing to Ananya Pandey’s character ‘Chandni’ for his mistake. He emotionally expresses his love, but Chandni leaves without listening to him. After this the trailer goes into flashback towards their college life and their first meeting.

It is shown in the trailer that Chandni gets impressed by Lakshya’s simplicity and down to earth behaviour. Gradually their relationship deepens. Lakshya introduces her to his family and starts changing many of his habits for her, even giving up smoking.

Conflict between self-respect and love
Both describe their love story as “legendary”, but then the story takes a big twist. According to the trailer, Lakshya makes a mistake which is described as “unforgivable”. This incident brings their relationship to the verge of breaking.

In the film, Ananya’s character is seen choosing her self-respect above relationships. Many poignant scenes of emotional conflict, heartbreak and separation are seen in the trailer.

Direction and release date
Chand Mera Dil is directed by Vivek Soni, who has previously worked on ‘Aap Jaisa Koi’. The film is produced by Karan Johar, Aadar Poonawala, Apoorva Mehta, Soman Mishra (owner of Dharma Productions) and Marieke D’Souza.

‘Chand Mera Dil’ will be released in theaters on 22 May 2026.
