Independent Morning Bureau.
A few hours before the voting for Maharashtra Assembly elections, there has been chaos in the state. Just before the elections, the face of BJP has once again been exposed by all kinds of tricks. BJP National General Secretary Vinod Tawde has been caught with cash in a hotel, this has been alleged by the workers of Bahujan Vikas Aghadi.
It is alleged that BJP National General Secretary Vinod Tawde distributed money in Vivant Hotel. A video related to this is also going viral on social media. Hundreds of workers have surrounded the hotel where Tawde was staying. There was a lot of uproar. Later the police took out Vinod Tawde. BVA chief Hitendra Thakur claimed that a diary was also found from the BJP leader.
Following the information, Bahujan Vikas Aghadi (BVA) party supporters stormed the hotel and threw cash on Tawde's face. According to BVA members, they received information about Vinod Tawde organizing a meeting at Vivant Hotel in Manvelpada. Naik and local BJP leaders were present here. The workers alleged that they saw Tawde distributing money among the people present. BVA chief Hitendra Thakur claimed that Rs 5 crore and two diaries with names were also found with Tawde. BVA alleged that when Vinod Tawde was holding a meeting inside the hotel, the main gate of the hotel was closed.
BVA has expressed concern over webcasting at all 507 polling stations in Nalasopara constituency. This area includes one of the two important polling stations in Palghar district. Nalasopara MLA Kshitij Thakur alleged that BJP leader Vinod Tawde had brought Rs 5 crore in cash. This amount was to be distributed to BJP candidate Rajan Naik. Kshitij Thakur claimed that the diary confirms transactions worth Rs 15 crore. It is being told that during this period Tawde's car was also checked. A complaint has also been made to the Election Commission on behalf of Thakur. His father Hitendra Thakur says that Vinod Tawde has called him several times and apologized.
Congress has also tweeted on this incident. Congress has said that BJP's National General Secretary Vinod Tawde has been caught distributing money in a hotel in Maharashtra. Vinod Tawde had taken money in a bag and was distributing the money by calling people there. When the public came to know about this news, there was a huge uproar. Many videos of Vinod Tawde with money are coming out. Just before voting is about to take place in Maharashtra, BJP leaders are trying to influence the elections with the help of money. This includes everyone from workers to big leaders. The Election Commission should take cognizance of this matter and take strict action.
On the other hand, Shiv Sena UBT leader Sanjay Raut's statement has come on this incident. He said that BJP's game is over. The work which the Election Commission had to do has been done by Kshitij Thakur. However, BJP has denied the allegations of distributing the money. BJP leader Praveen Darekar termed BVA's allegations as false. He said, I think the allegation against Tawde of distributing the money is ridiculous. MVA feels that they have lost the elections. That's why such stories are being made. Voting for the assembly elections in Maharashtra will be held tomorrow i.e. on 20th November and the counting of votes will take place on 23rd November.
