Jaipur, 26 December. There was a violent clash between rioters and police in Chaumun town of Rajasthan’s Jaipur district on Friday morning following a dispute over the installation of iron railings outside a mosque. After this incident tension spread in the area. This incident happened near Chaumun bus stand at around 3 in the morning. Several policemen were injured in stone pelting and tear gas shells were used to control the situation.
According to police officials, six policemen have been injured in the violence, who have been admitted to a nearby hospital.
