Chappell Roan recently snaps back at paparazzi outside a restaurant in Paris on March 8.
In a recent video shared on Instagram via TMZthe Casual singer was out and about in the city of light while trying to remain low profile.
Roan was going to enjoy her dinner on Sunday night but a flock of paps gathered outside her SUV.
Despite the singer’s plea for space, the paparazzi persisted and stayed there, waiting for the songstress to come out of her car.
Later, Roan appeared and this time, she turned the tables on paps while filming them via her mobile phone.
The Hot To Go crooner said that she has asked the paps several times to go away but they didn’t leave.
In the clip, Roan could be seen again requesting the paps to stop following her as well as harassing her and leave her alone.
After the clip went viral on social media, netizens slammed the singer for her stint.
One wrote, “Omg you’re famous. Get over yourself girl.”
Another remarked, “3 fans and 5 paparazzi. Appreciate your 3 fans at least. They waited for you.”
“It’s because of them that your name stays famous,” said a third user while defending paparazzi.
A fourth one added, “She’s lucky they recognise her because I don’t know who the heck she is.”
Celebrities clash with paps
This is not the first time that a celebrity confronted paps for pushing their boundaries.
Justin Bieber
Many times, Justin Bieber expressed his frustration with paps clicking his picture without consent. He had been harassed by the media and even had heated confrontation with them on several occasions.
Lately, the Baby hit-maker threw a water bottle on one of the media people after having dinner with his wife Hailey at Sushi Park in West Hollywood on March 6.
Jacob Elord
Earlier in December 2025, Frankenstein star Jacob Elordi also had a heated confrontation with one of the photographers at the Gare du Nord station in Paris.
The paparazzo kept disturbing the actor, who wanted to remain incognito.
Eventually, Jacob lashed out at him and said that they make it difficult for him to live.
Dua Lipa
Dua Lipa and her fiance Callum Turner were also hounded by paps in February.
The singer was visibly upset with media persons while exiting a local restaurant in Paris after enjoying their romantic dinner.
Dua and Callum, who confirmed their engagement last year, often keep their relationship private.
