Charlie Heaton has recently shared candid reaction after he’s compared to Harry Styles.
While speaking at the season four premiere of HBO’s Industry last week, the English actor finally addressed fan comparisons to former One Direction member.
“We’re both from the north of England, we’re about the same age,” said the 31-year-old in a new interview with PEOPLE.
When asked about fans comparing his appearance to pop star, the Marrowbone actor replied, “I don’t know. There (are) some similarities. Yeah, I get it.”
Although Charlie confessed, he never met Harry, he is hopeful that maybe “one day I’ll get to say hi to him”.
Elsewhere in the interview, the actor, who plays finance journalist Jim Dycker in new season of Industry,” mentioned that he was quite excited to take on a project that was “British”.
“It’s just so different from what I’ve done before, and I think that’s what attracted me,” stated Charlie.
As You Are actor further said that he was “scared to do it” as he never thought he could play this role.
“So, it was cool to dive into it because I came into an established cast, and that’s the opposite of what I’m used to,” explained Charlie.
Meanwhile, the actor also talked about his last day on the set of fifth and finale season of Stranger Things.
Reflecting on the last day on set, Charlie told PEOPLE that it “will forever live in my memory”.
“It was just real honesty… It was just like; I love the people I’m working with and I’m sad to say goodbye to you,” remarked the Billy Knight actor.
Charlie added, “It was a really special experience.”
