Charlie Puth drops teaser for ‘Home’ from upcoming album ‘Whatever’s Clever!’
Charlie Puth has given fans a sneak peek of his upcoming single Home as excitement builds for his next studio album.
The singer shared a short teaser clip on Instagram on March 6 revealing the track will feature Japanese-American music star Hikaru Utada.
Puth announced the release date of the new single in the caption writing: “Home. Out Monday 3.9 at 9 am PT/12 pm ET.”
The track will appear on his upcoming album Whatever’s Clever! which is scheduled to arrive on March 27 and will mark Puth’s sixth solo studio project.
Meanwhile reports have also suggested that Puth may be stepping into a leadership role at Moises which is a fast-growing music creation platform used by millions of musicians.
According to the reports the Grammy-nominated artist could serve as Chief Music Officer.
His role will revolve around helping guide creative and product development for the 70 million+ users of the platform. Puth has not publicly confirmed the position.
With a new single a major album rollout and potential ventures in music technology Puth appears to be entering another busy chapter in his career.
