Recently, Tesla CEO Elon Musk, while sharing a post on microblogging platform X, advised people to stay away from OpenAI’s popular AI tool ChatGPT. As soon as this statement came to light, OpenAI co-founder and CEO Sam Altman also did not remain silent and retaliated in sharp words.

The debate started with ChatGPT, reached Tesla and Grok

The controversy deepened when Elon Musk responded to a post by DogeDesigner on X. In this post it was claimed that 9 people have died due to the use of ChatGPT, out of which in 5 cases people committed suicide after interacting with AI. Quoting this post, Musk advised people to stay away from ChatGPT, after which the matter spread like wildfire.

Sam Altman’s sharp attack

Sam Altman also reacted sharply to this advice of Elon Musk. Re-posting the post, he wrote, ‘Approximately one billion people use ChatGPT, some of whom may be in a fragile mental state. We take this responsibility seriously, but these are tragic situations that need to be handled with respect” Sam Altman then raised the issue of Tesla’s autopilot system, directly targeting Elon Musk.

Tesla Autopilot and Grok AI also targeted

Sam Altman sarcastically wrote that more than 50 people have died in autopilot-related accidents. He said he had only driven in a car with Autopilot once and his first thought was that it was not safe at all for Tesla to release it.

Not only this, Altman also put Elon Musk’s Grok AI in the dock. He reminded that recently Grok AI has been embroiled in controversies due to allegations of making objectionable pictures of women.
