ChatGPT now works with Apple Music
ChatGPT has added support for Apple Music. Users can now search for songs, albums, and artists directly inside the chat. They can also create playlists using simple prompts.
Apple Music joins other apps already available in ChatGPT. These include Spotify, Canva, and Booking.com. The goal is to make ChatGPT more useful beyond just answering questions.
Users can add Apple Music from the Settings menu. This works on Mac, on the web, and on iPhone. Once added, users need to sign in to their Apple account and allow access.
After that, ChatGPT can help with music discovery. It can suggest songs. It can build playlists based on mood, theme, or specific ideas. Users do not need an Apple Music subscription to try this. ChatGPT will not play full songs. It will only offer preview clips and recommendations.
People can ask things like creating a 30 song rock Christmas playlist without boring picks. They can also ask for fun or pop culture based playlists. ChatGPT does not see a user’s Apple Music history. It cannot access saved songs or past listening habits. It only adds new music based on what the user asks for.
Earlier, Spotify was the only music app available in ChatGPT. Now users can choose between Spotify and Apple Music.
This update makes ChatGPT feel more like an all in one app. It can now help users discover music without leaving the chat.
