Finally Sarfaraz Khan got the buyer, got the benefit of scoring fifty on 15 balls, got so much money in the auction

IPL 2026 Auction: Indian batsman Sarfaraz Khan has finally found a buyer in the IPL 2026 auction. Chennai Super Kings has bought Sarfaraz Khan for Rs 75 lakh. However, Sarfaraz Khan has been sold in the second round. He remained unsold in the first round. Now he will be seen playing for CSK. Sarfaraz is making a lot of noise with the bat in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2025, which benefited him in the auction.

CSK bought Sarfaraz Khan

Sarfaraz Khan’s name was mentioned in the first set of IPL 2026 auction, but no team showed interest in him and he remained unsold. After this, when his name was called in the second round, Chennai Super Kings bought him for Rs 75 crore and included him in their team. Sarfaraz had kept his base price at Rs 75 lakh only.

Sarfaraz Khan is rocking Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy

Sarfaraz Khan is making a lot of noise with the bat in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2025. While playing for Mumbai Indians, he scored fifty in just 15 balls. In this tournament, Sarfaraz has so far scored a total of 329 runs while playing in 7 innings. Now he will be seen playing for Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2026.

Talking about Sarfaraz Khan’s IPL career, he has played a total of 50 matches so far. During this period, he has scored a total of 585 runs in 37 innings, which includes one half-century. Sarfaraz Khan has batted at an average of 22.50 and strike rate of approximately 131. During this period his high score has been 67 runs. Sarfaraz has not played any IPL matches since 2023, because he remained unsold for 2 seasons.
