Chhath Puja 2024: On the occasion of Chhath Mahaparva, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath greeted the people of the state in Bhojpuri style. The Chief Minister issued a video message on social media and congratulated all the devotees on the occasion of Chhath Mahaparva.

He said that on Chhath, the great festival of folk faith, nature love, purity and sun worship, we wish all you mothers and sisters and people of Bhojpuri society very good wishes. Chhath Ghat decorated in capital Lucknow
Chhath Mahaparva is celebrated with great pomp. In this, Lord Bhaskar is worshiped by observing a waterless fast for 36 hours. This festival is celebrated for the happiness and peace of the family. Today, fasting women will offer Arghya to the setting Lord Dinkar at the Chhath Ghat of rivers and then the next day on November 8 (Friday), Arghya will be offered to the rising Sun. Arrangements have been made by the government and administration in all the districts of Uttar Pradesh regarding Chhath Mahaparva. Arrangements for cleanliness and lighting have been made on the river ghats.
Preparations for Chhath Mahaparva have also been completed in the capital Lucknow. Chhath Ghat of Laxman Mela Ground in the capital Lucknow has been decorated very beautifully. It is expected that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath can reach Lakshman Mela ground on Thursday at the time of evening Arghya. The devotees going to the ghats to celebrate Chhath Mahaparva should not face any inconvenience in any way. For this, diversion was done at many places. Besides, holidays have been declared in all the schools and colleges of the capital Lucknow.
