Chhath Puja 2024 news in Hindi: On the fourth day of Chhath Puja, devotees and fasts from all over India offer Arghya to Lord Surya in the early morning. Families gathered at the banks of water bodies at sunrise, offered fruits, sweets and 'thekua' as offerings to Lord Surya, along with chanting hymns and prayers to Chhathi Maiya.

Chhath Puja lasts for four days, involving rigorous rituals and fasting to express gratitude to the Sun God for sustaining life on earth. This festival is mainly celebrated in Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, parts of Nepal and by the migrant communities of these regions. But people celebrate this festival all over the country.
