Chhattisgarh News: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today gifted development works worth Rs 195.26 crore in a program organized in village Suhela of Balodabazar-Bhatapara district. In the program, he provided house keys to 1073 beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural), gas connections to three thousand women under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, rights records to five thousand farmers under Pradhan Mantri Swamvit Yojana and checks of material and amount to beneficiaries under various schemes. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said that the aim of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is that every house should get the benefits of permanent house, toilet, pure drinking water and Prime Minister Suryaghar free electricity scheme. To realize this objective, our government is working with commitment in the interest of the public. He said that Chhattisgarh is completing 25 years of becoming a separate state and we are celebrating the silver jubilee year. We are fulfilling the promises made one by one in the guarantee given by Prime Minister Modi before the formation of the government.

Chief Minister Sai said that 21 quintals of paddy per acre is being purchased in the state at the rate of Rs 3,100 per quintal. The rate of tendu leaf collection has been increased to Rs 5,500 per standard bag. The outstanding bonus of two years has also been provided to the farmers. A large number of women are getting the benefits of Mahtari Vandan Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. He said that under the Pradhan Mantri Suryaghar Yojana, free electricity will be provided to every house. A large amount of subsidy is also available in this scheme, so more and more people should avail the benefits by installing solar panels in their homes. Praising the ‘Hum Honge Kamyab’ initiative of the administration in the district, he said that till now more than 500 youth have benefited from the efforts being made for the better future of the youth by training them as per their interest.
Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao and Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal also addressed the program. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Sai, Chhattisgarh is reaching new heights of development and big works are being completed easily. Revenue Minister Tankram Verma said that approval for roads worth more than Rs 100 crore has been received in Balodabazar-Bhatapara district alone. During the program, Chief Minister Sai announced the establishment of a new college in Suhela, community health center building in Tilda, Government Girls Higher Secondary School building in Balodabazar and construction of a new business complex. He also announced construction of sheds for farmers in 50 paddy procurement centers of the district at a cost of Rs 10 lakh each and construction of dividers and installation of lights for one kilometer on all three roads in Suhela Tigde.

The development works inaugurated by Chief Minister Sai mainly include 1073 houses built at a cost of Rs 12.87 crore under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural), and water supply schemes built in Amkhoni, Hathband, Pausari, Semhradih and Khaparadih at a cost of about Rs 7.74 crore. Major works of Bhoomi Pujan include strengthening of Balodabazar-Risda-Hathband road at a cost of Rs 49.17 crore, Risda bypass road of Balodabazar at a cost of Rs 20.98 crore, Indoor Stadium Complex in Balodabazar at a cost of Rs 15.59 crore, 717 houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural) at a cost of Rs 8.60 crore and Rs 8.04 crore. Beneficiary material and checks worth more than Rs 5 crore were distributed in the programme. This mainly includes refund of Rs 27 lakh in cyber fraud case, distribution of Rs 83 lakh in various schemes of the Labor Department, post matric scholarship of Rs 4.25 crore to 8333 students, Rs 25 lakh to 16 women under women self-help groups and ‘Saksham’ scheme, Rs 9.69 lakh to 10 beneficiaries under Chief Minister Employment Generation Program and Rs 6.81 lakh to 60 beneficiaries under ‘Hum Honge Kamyab’ scheme. A payment of Rs lakh is involved. On this occasion, Balodabazar-Bhatapara District Panchayat President Akanksha Jaiswal, District Panchayat President Raipur Naveen Aggarwal, former MLA Shivratan Sharma, Women Commission member Lakshmi Verma, District President Simga Daulat Pal and many public representatives and a large number of villagers were present.
