Major reshuffle in Chhattisgarh CM Secretariat, new departments distributed among officers; Know which IAS got what responsibility
Chhattisgarh IAS Reshuffle: Chhattisgarh CM Vishnudev Sai has made a fresh distribution of responsibilities among the secretariat officials. All secretaries and special secretaries have been given the responsibility of divisions. Apart from this, it has also been decided who will see the file of which department. The responsibilities of the officers in the Chief Minister’s Secretariat of Chhattisgarh have been decided afresh because two officers have been transferred to the Chief Minister’s Secretariat and two new officers have come.
Entry of two new officers in the secretariat
Secretary Basav Raju has been made Secretary in the Skill Development Department. Special Secretary Dr. Ravi Mittal has gone to the Prime Minister’s Office on deputation. In his place, Rajat Bansal has been made Special Secretary to CM and Prabhat Malik has been made Joint Secretary to CM.
The command of Chief Minister’s Secretariat will be in the hands of 6 veterans
After these two new officers, there are a total of 6 officers in the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, including five IAS and one IPS. These include Principal Secretary IAS Subodh Singh, Secretary IAS Mukesh Bansal, Secretary IAS P Dayanand, Secretary IPS Rahul Bhagat, Special Secretary Rajat Bansal and Joint Secretary Prabhat Malik.

Principal Secretary Subodh Singh will handle the most important responsibility
With the approval of the Chief Minister, the charges of all the secretaries including Subodh Singh and the departments and divisions of the Special Secretariat and Joint Secretariat have been fixed. Since Subodh Singh is the head of the CM Secretariat, he has not been given the charge of the division. But they will look at many important issues. Similarly, it has also been decided which officer will file the file of which department.

Division of divisions and files will speed up work
Actually, it is an old tradition of the CM Secretariat, the secretary is given the responsibility of getting the files submitted to the CM. That means the files that come from different departments. Responsibility is fixed for who will discuss it with the Chief Minister. Being the head of the CM Secretariat, PS to CM Subodh Singh has all the important responsibilities. All files till the Chief Minister pass through him. These include everything from President and PMO to Council of Ministers, coordination to Collector, SP, DFO conference. He also has the administrative and coordination work of the Chief Minister’s Secretariat.
