Chief Minister Sai administered oath to the youth for child marriage free India
Chhattisgarh News: National Rover-Ranger Jamboree was organized for the first time in village Dudhli of Balod district of Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai attended the closing ceremony of this historic event as the chief guest. He said that Scouting is not just an activity but a way of life, which teaches us to have faith in ourselves in difficult situations, to work together and to be dedicated to the society.
Welcoming the Rover-Rangers and Scout-Guides who came from different states of the country, the Chief Minister said that Chhattisgarh is the maternal birthplace of Lord Shri Ram and the abode of Mata Shabari. It is a matter of pride for the state to organize such a big national event in such a holy region.
Live glimpse of ‘Ek Bharat – Shrestha Bharat’
The Chief Minister said that this Jamboree is a beautiful example of the unity and diversity of India. Youth from different states of the country showcased their culture, dance, costumes and traditions on the stage. This proved that India is a strong country made up of different colours.
He said that this event takes forward the thinking of Prime Minister Narendra Modi of “Ek Bharat – Shrestha Bharat”.
Youth is the real strength of the country
While addressing the youth, Chief Minister Sai said that youth are the future of the country and the state. Referring to the words of Swami Vivekananda, he said – “Arise, awake and stop not until the goal is accomplished.”
He said that Scout-Guides teach discipline, leadership, service and teamwork to the youth, which makes them good citizens. He also appreciated the service work done by the Scout-Guides during the Corona period.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister congratulated the youth on the Prime Minister’s Child Marriage Free India Campaign Also administered oath under.
Participation of more than 15 thousand youth
More than 15 thousand Rover-Rangers from India and abroad participated in this five-day jamboree that ran from 9 to 13 January. The cultural programs in the closing ceremony enthralled everyone. The entire atmosphere was filled with patriotism, culture and brotherhood.
Youth got a new platform
School Education Minister Shri Gajendra Yadav said that many programs like Youth Parliament, Skill Show, Cultural Program and Tribal Fashion Show were organized in this Jamboree. This gave the youth an opportunity to showcase their talent.
On this occasion they Silver Elephant Award Was also honored with.
India will become strong through service and dedication
National Chief Commissioner Dr. K. Of. Khandelwal said that the real mantra of Scouting is to help others. He said that a better India can be created only through service and responsibility.
