CM Sai said in Gaura Puja festival, tribal culture is the identity of Chhattisgarh
Chhattisgarh News: Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai today participated in the Gaura Puja Mahotsav and Baiga Pujari Conference organized at Maharishi Valmiki Ashram in Rampur in Korba district. On this occasion, he congratulated the tribal society and said that the culture, traditions and faith of the tribal community are the identity of Chhattisgarh.
True guardian of tribal culture and tradition
The Chief Minister said that people of Baiga, Pujeri and tribal communities have been preserving their culture and religious traditions for generations. The worship of Gaura-Gauri is a form of worship of Shiva-Parvati, which the tribal society has been following for centuries.
‘Tribal Pride Path’ and statues of great men
In this program, Chief Minister Shri Sai announced to name the road from ITI Chowk to Balco Road as “Tribal Gaurav Path”. He also talked about installing statues of tribal great men at the beginning of this route, so that the coming generations can know their heroes.
Tribal people are getting benefits from the schemes of Modi government
The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has declared November 15 as Tribal Pride Day to honor the tribal society. simultaneously
Development is being taken to remote villages through Dharti Aaba Gram Utkarsh Yojana and PM Janman Yojana.
Under these schemes, 6,691 villages of Chhattisgarh are getting facilities like roads, water, electricity, health and education.

The Chief Minister proudly said that today the President of the country, Mrs. Draupadi Murmu is from the tribal community and the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh is also the son of a tribal community coming from a farmer family. This is a symbol of the increasing respect of the tribal society.

The Chief Minister said that roads, hospitals, schools and other facilities are expanding rapidly in tribal areas.

The Chief Minister said that a big digital tribal museum has been built in Nava Raipur, where the life and history of tribal great men has been shown. This will help the youth to connect with their roots.
Samman Nidhi for Baiga, Gunia and Sirha
The government is giving an honorarium of Rs 5,000 every year to Baiga, Guniya and Sirha. Along with this, Sarna sites will also be preserved so that tribal faith remains safe.
