Mahakumbh of literature will be organized in Purkhauti Muktangan from 23rd to 25th January.

Chhattisgarh News: With the aim of presenting the rich literary, cultural and intellectual tradition of Chhattisgarh at the national level, Raipur Sahitya Utsav – 2026 is being organized from 23 to 25 January 2026 at Purkhauti Muktangan located in Nava Raipur Atal Nagar. In this three-day event, the government has made easy and free transportation arrangements for the convenience of the general public, literature lovers, students and youth.

Special bus facility for common citizens
A total of six special bus routes have been scheduled from different areas of Raipur city to ensure easy access to the festival venue. These buses will operate as per schedule on all three days at 9 am, 10:30 am, 12 noon, 1:30 pm, 3 pm and 4:30 pm, so that people can participate in the festival without any hassle.

Direct route from Tatibandh to Purkhauti Muktangan
Route number 1 will start from Tatibandh and reach Purkhauti Muktangan via Sarona, Raipura Chowk, Kushalpur, Bhathagaon Chowk, Santoshi Nagar Chowk, Pachpedi Naka, MMI, Devpuri, Doomtarai, Mana Mod, Temri and Mana Camp.

Facility from railway station to festival venue
Route number 2 will go from the railway station via Fafadih Chowk, D Nagar, Mekahara, Shastri Chowk, Kalibari, Siddharth Chowk, Pachpedi Naka, MMI, Devpuri, Doomtarai, Mana Mod, Temri and Mana Camp to the festival venue in Nava Raipur.

Chhattisgarh News: Reach via Telibandha and VIP Chowk
Route No. 3 will reach Purkhauti Muktangan from Railway Station via Fafadih Chowk, Mekahara, Ghadi Chowk, Gandhi Udyan, Bhagat Singh Chowk, Telibandha, Avantibai Chowk, Pt. Deendayal Chowk, VIP Chowk, Agricultural University, Labhandi, Jora and Capital Complex.

Direct service from University area
Route number 4 will run from University Gate to the festival venue via Science College, Ayurvedic College, Ashram, Amapara, Azad Chowk, Kalibari, Siddharth Chowk, Pachpedi Naka, MMI, Devpuri, Doomtarai, Mana Mod, Temri and Mana Camp.

Convenience from Mowa and Pandari area
Route number 5 will reach Purkhauti Muktangan from Kachna via Mova, Lodhipara, Pandari, Shastri Chowk, Kalibari Chowk, Siddharth Chowk, Pachpedi Naka, Mahavir Nagar, Telibandha, Avantibai Chowk, Pt. Deendayal Chowk, VIP Chowk, Agricultural University, Labhandi, Jora and Capital Complex.

Direct route from Bhathagaon to Nava Raipur
Route number 6 will be operated from Bhathagaon to the festival venue at Nava Raipur via Pachpedi Naka, MMI, Devpuri, Doomtarai, Mana Mod, Temari and Mana Camp.

Chhattisgarh News: Three-day Mahakumbh of literature and culture
Raipur Literature Festival – 2026 will become a powerful platform to connect the cultural soul, folk traditions and literary consciousness of Chhattisgarh with the new generation.
