It is likely to continue moving eastwards and gradually weaken on Wednesday. A trough formed in the middle and upper tropospheric westerly winds, whose axis is 5.8 km above sea level. An upper air cyclonic circulation also persists over Gangetic West Bengal, adjoining north coastal Odisha, about 1.5 km above mean sea level. Due to its effect, there is a possibility of light rain and thundershowers at isolated places for two-three days.
