Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court Mahesh Sharadchandra Sonak visited Lohardaga, interacted with advocates in the conduct court premises.

Lohardaga: Jharkhand High Court Chief Justice Mahesh Sharadchandra Sonak reached Lohardaga on Thursday. On the arrival of the CJ, he was given a grand welcome by judicial, administrative and police officials as well as advocates at the Lohardaga Civil Court premises. After the welcome, the Chief Justice was given a guard of honour. The CJ supervised the conduct of the court.

During this, he took stock of the arrangements of the court premises, judicial functioning, status of pending cases and basic facilities available for advocates and litigants. As part of the inspection, the Chief Justice met the judicial officers in their office room and held a brief meeting and obtained various information related to judicial work. After this, he also interacted with the lawyers and saw the new arrangements of the court.

While interacting with the advocates, Chief Justice Mahesh Sharadchandra Sonak said that it has been the judicial tradition that senior advocates provide guidance to new and young advocates based on their experience. He expressed hope that the senior advocates of Lohardaga will also take forward this tradition and encourage the young advocates, which will further strengthen the judicial system. In a brief conversation with the media, the Chief Justice said that he was happy to come to Lohardaga and wished the people here.

After inspection and meetings, he stayed for some time at the District Parishad Bhawan, then left for Netarhat, a famous tourist destination of Jharkhand. Strict security arrangements were made in and around the court premises for the arrival of the Chief Justice. On this occasion, Principal District and Sessions Judge, Deputy Commissioner, Superintendent of Police, Chief Judicial Magistrate, SDPO of Lohardaga and Kisco including many judicial, administrative and police officers and senior advocates were present.
