New Delhi. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has made the claim after appearing before Sri Akal Takht Sahib in connection with his alleged comments on Sikh traditions. There is no truth in the things being spread against him on social media. He said that the decision of Takht Sahib will be conveyed to him and he will respect the decision taken by this institution. He also claimed that the video of him giving the statement is fake. He said that the video should be examined in the forensic lab.

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that I have presented my case before Sri Akal Takht Sahib. I have presented written evidence before Akal Takht Sahib. It was also made clear that the rumors circulating on social media that Bhagwant Maan is challenging Sri Akal Takht Sahib are false. I have no standing to say such a thing in front of Akal Takht Sahib. Singh Sahib’s decision will be informed to me. Singh Sahib’s decision will be respected. CM said that this video is fake and it can be examined in any forensic lab. Earlier, according to the Public Relations Officer of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann reached the Golden Temple to appear before the Akal Takht Sahib Secretariat regarding his comments on the Golak issue. During the presentation before Jathedar Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj and Jathedar Giani Tek Singh of Takht Sri Damdama Sahib at the Secretariat, the Jathedars handed over a copy of the monthly Gurdwara Gazette magazine and letters from the Shiromani Gurdwara Management Committee related to the Sikh Code of Conduct to the Chief Minister.
