Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav congratulated Anushka Sharma on her selection in the Indian women’s cricket team.

Gwalior. 22-year-old cricketer Anushka Sharma, resident of Gwalior city of Madhya Pradesh, has got a big opportunity in her career. She has been selected in the Indian women’s cricket team for the upcoming five-match T-20 series against South Africa. His selection has created an atmosphere of happiness not only among his family but also among the sports lovers of the city and the state. Meanwhile, State Chief Mohan Yadav also joined in Anushka’s happiness and during his visit to Gwalior, he met Anushka and congratulated her for this achievement and wished her a bright future.

Talking about this, cricketer Anushka said, ‘I am very happy and my family members are also feeling very proud. At the same time, it was also my good fortune that I got a chance to meet the Chief Minister. So I am very happy about all these things. I started playing professional cricket at the age of 14 and till now have participated in many tournaments including WPL and Women’s Asia Cup Rising Stars.

Collector said- Anushka will become an inspiration for others
Gwalior District Collector Ruchika Chauhan also congratulated Anushka on her selection in the team for the international series and called it a very proud occasion for the entire city. He said that the selection of Gwalior’s daughter in the national team will be an inspiration for other players.

We got this good news this morning and now she will represent India in the upcoming series in South Africa. I believe that there is no greater honor for any player than playing for the country.
