Chief Minister Hemant Soren and Kalpana Soren went to RIMS to inquire about the condition of Birsa Munda's descendant Mangal Munda, instructed doctors for better treatment.

Ranchi: Nominated Chief Minister Hemant Soren and his wife Gandey MLA Kalpana Soren visited RIMS on Wednesday to inquire about the current condition of Mangal Munda, grandson of Dharti Aba Birsa Munda. Mangal Munda was seriously injured during a road accident in Khunti on Monday. On Tuesday, the team of doctors at RIMS successfully operated on Mangal Munda but he is still on ventilator. Chief Minister Hemant Soren took information about the current condition of Mangal Munda from the doctors and directed for better treatment.

Before taking oath as Chief Minister, Hemant Soren reached his native village Nemra, grandmother Sobran Soren along with Kalpana Soren participated in the death anniversary.
On Tuesday, its successful operation was done under the leadership of Dr. Anand Prakash, HOD of Neurosurgery Department of RIMS. This operation was quite complex, the operation was done on both sides of the brain and it lasted for about 4 hours. After being seriously injured in a road accident in Khunti, a medical team was formed under the leadership of Civil Surgeon on the instructions of nominated Chief Minister Hemant Soren and referred to RIMS. Mangal Munda has a serious head injury.
