Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren held an important meeting with Health Department officials on Thursday. During this meeting, Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that a health circuit of all the medical colleges and hospitals and district hospitals of the state should be created so that patients can be shifted from one hospital to another as per the need. This will not put much pressure of patients on any one hospital. For this, it is necessary that better treatment facilities should be available in all hospitals. The Chief Minister was holding a high-level review meeting with officials of the Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare Department today. He said that the government is committed to providing better health facilities to the people in the state itself. The Chief Minister also held an important meeting with the concerned officials regarding the re-development plan and traffic arrangements of the capital Ranchi.

All hospitals should be functional 24×7

There should be arrangements for hospital management

The Chief Minister said that complaints about disorganization in hospitals are often received through various mediums. Patients coming to hospitals for treatment have to face many problems. In hospitals, some patients are not able to get a bed and some face inconvenience in getting tested. There is a crowd of patients in OPD. To avoid such chaos in the hospital, the hospital management should be strengthened and improved so that the patients can easily get all the information related to treatment. Move towards peritoneal dialysis of kidney patients

The Chief Minister said that the number of kidney patients is continuously increasing. In such a situation, patients have to wait a long time for dialysis in hospitals. Due to this, the busyness of doctors and paramedical personnel also increases significantly. In such a situation, the health department should move towards providing all the necessary medicines and equipment for peritoneal dialysis to kidney patients so that they can do dialysis themselves at their home.

Prepare data of cancer patients

The Chief Minister said that today the number of cancer patients is increasing in large numbers. This disease is rapidly catching people. Most cancer patients go to big hospitals outside the state for treatment. Make five new medical colleges fully functional, make arrangements for better operation of community health centers

The Chief Minister took information from the officials about the progress of construction work of five new medical colleges and hospitals in the state. He said that all these hospitals should be made fully functional as soon as possible so that the system of referring patients to RIMS or other big hospitals remains under control. He directed to take concrete steps for better operation of community health centers located in remote and remote rural areas, so that rural patients do not have to go here and there for treatment of common diseases.

● The Regional Eye Institute under construction in the RIMS campus should, in any case, be started by February next year.

● OPD and testing facilities of all departments should be made available in the same building.

● The process of appointment of specialist doctors as per the need should be completed as soon as possible.

● The patients who have been successfully treated at RIMS and only need proper nursing and care, should be shifted to Sadar Hospital. This will provide relief to patients in the hospital from bed and other problems to a great extent.

● The departments in RIMS where the burden of patients is very high, should be shifted to Sadar Hospital. For this, there should be all facilities and arrangements for treatment in Sadar Hospital.

● Appropriate steps should be taken towards removing encroachment from the rims.

● Entry of unwanted elements into RIMS campus should be prohibited. Improve the security system here.

● Implement any system while also assessing the utilities.

● In view of the cold, ensure arrangement of bonfires at intersections and distribution of blankets among the poor.
