Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami approved Rs 167 crore for various development schemes.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami approved a total amount of Rs 167 crore for many development schemes in the state including improvement and reconstruction of roads, school buildings, Haridwar Ganga Corridor Project, construction of roads, ghats and bridges and heliports, beautification of temples.
The schemes for which the Chief Minister sanctioned funds included improvement of old Kotdwar Haridwar road from Lalpur-Kalalghati-Nayawad to Meerut-Pauri road in Dugdada of Kotdwar (1.28 crore), asphalting of Khetikhan-Milan road in Champawat district (3.20 crore), reconstruction of the road from Betalghat in Nainital and Nania Vinayak to Bidari Pokharadhar in Kotabagh (4 crore), Upgradation of the main road up to the lower terminal of Mussoorie Ropeway to one and a half lane (13.39 lakh), reconstruction and improvement of Kamajula-Bhanar Raighadi road of Lohaghat (7 crore) and construction of Pokhri-Chandikaghat road in Gangolihat (5.38 crore), construction of Malviya Island, Subhash Ghat, Kangra Ghat and Rodi Belwala Ghat in Har Ki Pauri Revival Scheme under Haridwar Ganga Corridor Project. And construction of bridge (70 crores), and development of northern area of Har Ki Paidi (69.34 crores) were approved. For education and community buildings, approval was given for construction of auditorium in Agastyamuni Post Graduate College (5.19 crore) and for construction of State Legal Council building in Haldwani (one crore).
Under religious and tourism development, beautification of Maa Nandadevi temple in Pithoragarh (40.56 lakh), construction of horse path (40.14 lakh) and interlocking tiles from Lohaghat road to college (33.78 lakh) were approved.
Rs 10.66 lakh were sanctioned for the first phase of heliport construction in Lansdowne, Pauri Garhwal and Rs 4.23 crore were sanctioned for the cow shed in Khatima. Government orders regarding approval of all these schemes have been issued.
