Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai gave a big gift to Kabirdham district, performed Bhoomi Pujan of projects worth Rs 166 crore, made a special appeal to the citizens.

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai on Friday gifted development works worth crores to Kabirdham district. The Chief Minister performed virtual bhumi pujan of 55 roads and 12 big bridges in the district at a cost of Rs 166 crore under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana and PM Janman Yojana.

Let us inform that CM Vishnudev Sai, Deputy CM Vijay Sharma were connected live from Jashpur. From where the Chief Minister joined through virtual medium and addressed the public by starting the construction works. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, there has been an unprecedented pace in the expansion of the road network in the last decade. Most of the villages in the state have been connected by road through Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana and PM Janman Yojana.

CM Sai said, under the Bharatmala project, road construction work is in progress from Raipur to Visakhapatnam and from Raipur to Dhanbad via Jashpur, which will give a new direction to the connectivity and economic activities of Jashpur region.

Chief Minister’s appeal to increase participation in census

Appealing to the public for active participation in the upcoming census, the Chief Minister said that only accurate data forms the basis of accurate development plans. He also informed that under the Electricity Bill Payment Solution Scheme, problems are being resolved by organizing camps across the state and electricity bills worth ₹757 crore are being waived off.

CM also mentioned Naxalism in the Naxalism meeting. He said that under the guidance of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, significant progress has been made in solving the Naxal problem in the state, due to which rapid development work is now possible even in remote areas.
