Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave a big gift to lawyers, doctors, teachers and journalists, they will get flats soon

Lucknow: An important program took place on Monday in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, where Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath helped a large number of people build houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban 2.0. He transferred a total of Rs 900 crore directly to the bank accounts of 92,098 beneficiaries as the first installment. This amount was transferred through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), so that poor families can easily build permanent houses.

Along with the poor, special classes will also get benefits

On this occasion, CM Yogi said that every poor person in Uttar Pradesh should have his own house. He announced that high-rise buildings would be built on government lands freed from mafia control. Apart from the poor, affordable and available houses will also be built for the lawyers, doctors, teachers and journalists of the state. He specifically mentioned journalists.

CM said that journalists keep wandering day and night for news. If cheap houses are available for them in every district, then at least they will have their own place. He instructed the officers of all the districts and the Urban Development Department that this facility should be provided in every district. This will send a positive message to the society.

Use of mafia lands and strict action

Yogi Adityanath, while targeting the old governments, said that before 2017, mafias had captured government lands. Now those lands are being freed and used for the poor and needy. If necessary, the mafia’s own property will also be confiscated and the plan will be taken forward. He said that those who exploited the poor will have to pay their accounts with interest.

CM Yogi talked to many women beneficiaries

CM Yogi interacted with many women beneficiaries in the program. He told that today Uttar Pradesh has become the engine of development of the country. The government is working for villages, poor, farmers, youth, women and every section of the society.

When the deprived, Dalit and backward people get the benefits of the schemes, their income increases and the economy of the state becomes stronger. CM reminded that before 2017, the poor could not even get ration and the state was called Bimaru State.
