Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself filled his census form, made the biggest appeal till date to the people of UP.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken another big step towards the development of the state. During his stay in Gorakhpur on Saturday, CM Yogi filled the self enumeration form online under the first phase of the ongoing digital census in the state at his residence located in the Gorakhnath temple complex. The Chief Minister completed this digital form with his own hands. On this special occasion, he has also made a very important appeal to all the citizens of UP to actively participate in this digital self-counting process which will continue till May 21.

Let us tell you that at present a massive census campaign is going on in the entire country. In its first phase, mainly the name of the head of the household, location of the house and other basic information related to the family is being recorded online. The government believes that this self-enumeration facility, i.e. the facility to fill the form by oneself, will speed up the entire process significantly, which will help in preparing an accurate and better data of the country and the state.

CM Yogi himself typed his every information on the portal

Taking this campaign of Digital India forward, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself logged into the self-assessment portal and completed all the columns of information sought in it one by one. After filling the form, he appealed to the people of the state to confirm their participation in this digital campaign and said that this is the first completely digital census in the history of the country. Its main objective is to collect accurate data with the thinking of ‘Our Census-Our Development’, so that on the basis of these data, the correct outline of development and future welfare schemes of Uttar Pradesh can be prepared. Let us remind you that recently on May 7, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had officially launched the first phase of this digital census, ‘Swaganana’, from Lucknow.

This census is not the population count, but the real basis of progress.

Explaining the importance of census, CM Yogi said that it should not be considered merely as a count of heads or population figures. In fact, it is the strongest foundation for holistic, inclusive and well-planned development of the society. He said that the upcoming ‘Census 2027’ will become an excellent medium to ensure that even the last person of the society can be equally connected to the mainstream of development going on in the country and the state and he gets the full benefits of the schemes. The Chief Minister further said that digital technology is being used for the first time to obtain accurate and real-time data, which has made the entire census process more transparent, effective and superfast than ever before.
