Lucknow:The sudden demise of Prateek Yadav, younger son of Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav and husband of BJP leader Aparna Yadav, caused a wave of mourning in political and social circles. This news that came on Wednesday morning surprised everyone. After 38-year-old Prateek Yadav’s health suddenly deteriorated, he was taken to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead. As soon as the news of his demise was received, family, supporters and political leaders started reaching his residence.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also reached Aparna Yadav’s residence and paid tribute to Prateek Yadav. He met the family members and expressed his condolences. During this period many ministers and officials of the state government were also present.

The Chief Minister had also shared the condolence message on social media platform X. He wrote that the untimely demise of Prateek Yadav, son of former Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav and husband of Aparna Yadav, is very sad. He prayed for peace of the departed soul and strength to the family to bear the loss.
Prateek Yadav was an important part of the socialist family. Although he stayed away from active politics, his name always remained in political discussions. His wife Aparna Yadav is associated with BJP and is currently the vice-chairman of Uttar Pradesh State Women Commission. After the news of his demise, leaders of both Samajwadi Party and BJP expressed grief. Many political personalities paid tribute through social media and expressed condolences to the family.
Post mortem done in KGMU
After the death of Prateek Yadav, his body was sent to KGMU in Lucknow for post-mortem. A special panel of doctors completed the entire process. After the post-mortem, the body was brought to the family’s residence, where a crowd of people gathered for the last darshan. According to the initial report of doctors, he suffered cardiac arrest due to blood clot formation in the veins of the lungs. This is why he died. In medical language this condition is called pulmonary embolism.
Doctors told the cause of death
The post mortem report revealed that blood circulation in the body was affected due to the formation of a blood clot in the veins of the lungs. After this he suddenly suffered cardiac arrest. Doctors have preserved some samples related to heart and lungs for further investigation. Apart from this, some parts of the body have also been preserved for chemical examination. The investigation report has been handed over to the police for further processing.
