Strict action will be taken if children wear Santa dress in school without parental permission, know what is the order of the Commission?

Reva. In the schools of Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh, children will not be made to wear any costume in the schools without the permission of the parents. In the month of December, on Christmas, children are made Santa Claus in the schools. Parents have protested many times against the creation of Santa Claus.

Keeping this in view, the State Child Protection Commission has issued orders to the Education Department and Collectors. It has been said in the order that it will be necessary for parents to take written permission for wearing Santa Claus or any other costume. This order has been issued by Madhya Pradesh Child Officer Protection Commission on 12 December 2024.

The Child Commission has taken this decision because in the last few years, such complaints were lodged by parents on Christmas. In which it was said that they were being forced to buy Santa dress by the school. Therefore, this time before Christmas, the Children's Commission has issued orders to all the schools of the district through the Education Department.

If children are made Santa in schools without the written permission of the parents, then if a complaint is made about it, the school principal will be held responsible and strict action will be taken against the school management.

Do not wear costumes without permission

District Education Officer Vivek Dubey said that on the orders of the Child Commission, instructions have been given to all the educational institutions of the district. They should not wear any costume without the permission of their parents. Minority educational institutions have also welcomed this order.
